news Miramare, Nature Inspires Culture: Eight Years of Projects and Innovation at Miramare Castle

On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, the BIA team took part in the conference “Miramare, Nature Inspiring Culture”, promoted by the Historical Museum and the Park of Miramare Castle. The event served as a moment of sharing and public reflection on the achievements reached together over the past eight years.

Hosted between the State Hall of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the Throne Room of Miramare Castle, the day marked an important opportunity to publicly share the progress of the enhancement journey that began in 2017 with the “Thinking Miramare” project, which has since evolved through numerous interventions on both the Park and the Museum.

BIA supported the Museum team in the planning and organizational coordination of the event, helping to create a gathering that brought together institutions, scholars, cultural professionals, and citizens in an open dialogue on nature, culture, and innovation.

Among the central topics of the program were presentations of projects funded by the NextGenerationEU – PNRR initiative, including the restoration of the historic carriage road, the botanical restoration of the historic park, and the development of the mobile application “Sentieri parlanti” (Talking Paths).
