news Cultural Project Design Training: the BIA journey with Slow Food Italy

How do you build an effective project? How do you transform intuitions and visions into concrete, sustainable, and fundable actions?

These are the central questions of the new training program on project design developed by BIA for Slow Food Italy, an organization we have collaborated with for a long time on themes related to the enhancement of cultural and food heritage.

This journey is designed to provide practical tools while also stimulating a broader reflection on the role of design in cultural and territorial processes.

A training path to build solid and coherent projects

The first meeting was dedicated to the theme “Building a Project“: a session focused on defining project foundations, from structuring the idea to building clear and measurable objectives.

Through practical exercises and analysis of concrete case studies, participants were guided through an operational path to:

– Organize a project idea

– Define objectives and expected results

– Build a coherent and sustainable structure

– Understand funding criteria

A concrete approach designed to make project design an accessible and applicable tool in various territorial and organizational contexts.

Upcoming meetings: Project management and case studies

The training path continues with two more appointments, designed to delve into the subsequent phases of the project lifecycle:

– May 14, 2026:Focus on project management and operational handling

– May 27, 2026: Online meeting dedicated to the analysis of case studies of completed projects

A program that aims to accompany participants throughout the entire design process, from the ideation phase to the management and evaluation of activities.

Providing training in the field of project design means giving people, organizations, and institutions the right tools to learn how to read their reference context, identify opportunities, and build concrete responses capable of generating impact over time.
